Learning Experience Design and Development

Coming from a design background, I enjoy bringing my digital design skills to learning – for more on this, see below “why do I do this?”.

I believe knowledge can change the world! It changes mine, often. Learning makes people better, more aware, more inclusive, emotionally capable and reflective individuals. Expand that to their relationships and the community, and we have a better world to live in.

That’s me, on a mission to change individuals for the better, one heart at a time.

I strive to design effective learning programs that are engaging and relevant. Learning that empowers people to be a better version of themselves, while aiming to align behaviour with the business’ vision.

 Branched-scenario, Game-based activities (aka. serious games)

  • Adult learning theory, leadership and preference frameworks
  • Storytelling for learning design
  • Gamification of existing programs;
  • Learning portal and technology, eg. Storyline/Rise, H5P, LMP/LXP, SCORM/xAPI,
  • Leverage AI-powered tools, augmented and virtual reality, and interactive video
  • Online and offline learning experiences
Why do I do this?

Back in 2015-ish, my boy asked me what I do for work. That was advertising and marketing, and I got myself explaining that my main goal was to help rich companies sell more, meaning I was helping people who already had a lot of money make even more money. As I saw him trying to understand what I just said, I was secretly hoping he didn’t – and I didn’t like it one bit.

That is not to say advertising is inherently bad, just that since I moved to learning, I feel my work has a far more noble purpose. If I do my job well, the training I build (my product) will help people be safer, smarter, better equipped to do their jobs and better versions of themselves. And if they happen to be leaders, that should have a ripple effect into the lives of many others.

Think about the training you need. Why do you need it?
